Wilma Jean Heishman

Wilma Jean Heishman, age 72 of Timberville, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at her home in the presence of her family.

Mrs. Heishman was born March 7, 1944 in  Camp Creek, WVA, daughter of the late Joseph C. and Pemel Hutchins Lilly.

Mrs. Heishman was married  January 12, 1963  to Spencer Heishman who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Teresa Heishman of Strasburg, a son born January 24, 1965 and Gregory Heishman of Nokesville; two sisters, Shelby Bennett of Shady Springs, WVA, and Dremma Smith of Cool Ridge, WVA;  three brothers, Cheryl Lilly of Mt. Airy, NC, Keith Lilly   and Jeff Lilly both of Cool Ridge WVA; and five grandchildren, Koty Heishman, Andrew Heishman, Ashleigh Carter, Christine Carter and Dalton Morris.

Services will be private.

Arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.

    Mrs. Heishman is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. She was like a second Mom to me as a kid, who spent a lot of time in the Heishman household. She always made me feel welcomed and loved. Heaven brought home one of their angels. Thanks for all the wonderful childhood memories. Love you XO

    I want to express my sympathy to Spencer and the family. I first met Jean when she was about 13 years old. I have a lot of memories of her and always knew her to be a very nice, polite and decent person who will be missed very much.
