Alfonso “Buck” Smith ,Sr., 89 of Woodstock passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home. Family will receive friends Monday, November 19, 2018 from 7-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Alfonso was born October 21, 1929 in Woodstock. He was the son of the late George and Genevieve McPherson Smith. He retired with over 30 years as a detailer with Woodstock Garage. He was preceded in death by a son, Alfonso Smith, Jr. and 9 siblings. Alfonso is survived by a daughter, Karen Smith Ford of West Virginia; a son Dwight of Woodstock; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 10 great, great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and countless friends throughout the community.
