Alora Grubbs Obituary

Alora Ann Grubbs, of Woodstock, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was 17 years old.
Alora accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and was baptized in 2020. Her home church was MyChurch in Woodstock and she also attended youth group at Columbia Furnace Church of the Brethren.
At Peter Muhlenberg Middle School Alora played basketball and violin. She played soccer at Central High School where she graduated in May 2021.
Alora was a very beautiful, smart, kind-hearted and strong-willed young woman who was loved by many. Alora was sincere and compassionate towards everyone around her and was often driven to help and support those in need.
Alora was preceded in death by her father Eric Parsons and grandfather Chet Parsons. She is survived by her mother Julie Meredith and stepfather Philip Meredith, grandparents; Mary Grubbs and Bobby Lineweaver, Sheri and Tom McGowan and Rebecca Meredith, uncles; Mark Grubbs, Cory and Sara Parsons, Tommy and Lauren McGowan and Kevin McGowan, her siblings; Bella, Jason, Declan and Hannah and her boyfriend Kolby Ritenour.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 5:00PM at MyChurch in Woodstock, Virginia, with a reception to follow.
