Betty Elizabeth Spitler, 92 of Mt. Jackson passed away on March 7, 2022, at Consulate Health Care. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Dellinger Funeral Homes, Mt. Jackson. Burial will be private.
Betty was born on March 13, 1929, in Quicksburg, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rebecca Mathias Golladay. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Spitler; 3 sons, Donald, Dwight, and David Custer; a daughter, Joyce Custer; a grandson, Dwight and 2 sisters, Janet Shoemaker, and Ethel Louise Hobson.
She is survived by 2 sons, Emery and James Custer: 5 grandchildren, Troy, Elizabeth, Tammie, Brandon and Casey; 5 great grandchildren, Samantha, Harley Laci, Weston, and Lillian and 1 sister.
