Ernest McKee Obituary
Ernest Lee McKee, 76 of Mt. Jackson, died Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg.
Mr. McKee was born July 5, 1940 in Scrapple, West Virginia, son of the late Edward Lee and Nellie Willingham McKee.
Mr. McKee served in the United States Marines.
He was a retired Arlington County police officer.
He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Mt. Jackson.
Mr. McKee was a volunteer at the Search Thrift Store in Mt. Jackson and the Mt. Jackson Museum.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia McKee.
Mr. McKee is also survived by a son Kenneth; a daughter, Paula; three sisters; two grandchildren, Kyle and Kristin; and two great grandchildren, Taylor and Lola Grace.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Mt. Jackson Rescue and Fire Department, P.O. Box 251, Mt. Jackson, VA 22842.
Cremation arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.
