Georgianna Anna Fahrney, 86 of New Market passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Lifecare Center of New Market. A Graveside Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in Timberville Cemetery. Family and friends may stop by Dellinger Funeral Homes, Mt. Jackson to pay their respects and sign the book on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 9-5 P.M. Georgianna was born on February 5, 1936, in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of the late Dan and Annie Marston Lam. She was a 1955 graduate of New Market High School, she enjoyed planting and taking care of her flowers. She like to sew and made clothes for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Fahrney, a sister, Mary Catherine Lineweaver and a brother, Ernest Lam. Georgianna is survived by a son, Sam Armentrout and his wife Lucy of Edinburg, a daughter, Melissa Flynn and husband Charles of Mt. Jackson, 2 grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Nancy Fahrney. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter 268 Landfill Road Edinburg, Virginia 22824.
