Hazel Tobin Obituary

Hazel Tobin, 63 of Mt. Jackson, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mrs. Tobin was born November 8, 1954 in Loudoun County, daughter of the late Adam Leon and Mary Lockhart Simpson

She was preceded in death by her husband Winston Clayton Tobin, Sr. of 39 years.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Tobin and Ralph of Mt. Jackson, Sheri High and Alvin, Shelby Helsley and Larry all of Basye; a son, Winston Clayton Tobin, Jr. and Amanda of Basye; seven grandchildren, C.J., Brandon, Anthony, Heather, (Father) David (Peanut) High, Abbie, Anna, and Aaron; one great granddaughter, Claire; three sisters, Helen G. Sudduth of Jeffersonton, VA, Daisy E. Kirk and Joyce I. Deal both of Marshall, Va; two brothers, Clyde Raymond and Bernice Simpson and Roger Allen and Barbara Simpson all of Marshall, VA; mother in law, Mrs. Tobin; sister in laws, Jo Ann Simpson, Karen Brown, and Paulette Dennis; brother in law, Wesley Tobin.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with Pastor Brian Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Dennis, Billy Sudduth, Glen Simpson, C R Simpson, Roger Simpson, and Ray Simpson, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Runyon, Jason Cross, and Teresa Law.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Hazel Tobin's Burial Fund, P.O. Box 63, Mt. Jackson, VA 22842.

Arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.
