Helen Marie (Knight) Ball received resurrection life on August 28, 2020 at 4:15 am at the Life Care Center of New Market, Virginia. She was born on April 28, 1936 in Richmond, Virginia. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Ball, her parents Ernest Knight and Verna Ballowe, her brother Ernest Knight, Jr. and her daughter Tammy B. Fisher. Surviving are her daughters Marie Bromm (Alfred), Mabel Rucker, Verna Lacy (David), Ellen Kelsey (Paul), and Terry Hendricks (Robert); Grandchildren: David Lee, Lauren, Krystal, Rachel, Lindsay, and Jason, and eighteen great-grandchildren. Helen was a homemaker and enjoyed music, cooking, reading, and crafts. Helen and her husband lived in the Little Bay Community of White Stone, VA after retirement. She suffered a stroke almost twenty years ago and experienced a healing miracle allowing her to enjoy many more years. Thanks be to God. A memorial service will be held September 26, 2020 at 11:00 am the Sandston Baptist Church, 100 W. Williamsburg Rd., Sandston, Virginia. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Virginia 23150.
