Jacqueline Sarah Pellerin, 91 devout Catholic went to her eternal resting place on January 10, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Jackie was born on February 11, 1929, in Taftville, CT., she was the youngest daughter of the late Arthur Parent and Irene Bessette Tourtellot (Carl). Jackie, a breast cancer survivor, was a loving wife and mother of 5 children. On July 1, 1950, she married the love of her life, Euclid "Shorty" Pellerin in Moosup, CT. Jackie and Shorty moved from Connecticut to Virginia in 1972. They enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay and were often accompanied by their granddaughter, Jessica where they taught her crabbing. They were married 32 years until his death. Jackie was a licensed LPN for 30 years until her retirement in 2002. Jackie enjoyed reading, knitting, needlepoint, playing pinochle, gardening, and spending time with her family. Jackie's passion for travel took her across the country, England, and other European cities.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Euclid "Shorty" Pellerin, her son, Michael Glenn Pellerin, and her sister, Marilyn Parent Tetreault.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sue Gore and Cheryl Spalding (Bob); her two sons, Scott Pellerin and Kevin Pellerin; 7 grandchildren, Jessica Perloff (Corey), Robert Spalding, Jr. (Ezzy), Douglas Gore (Amy), Michelle Smith (Anthony), Angela Arnold (Shawn), Katrina Pellerin and Brandi Pellerin; 10 great-grandchildren, Malik and Ethan Perloff, Isabelle Spalding, Charlotte Gore, Madi, and Claire Merrero, Abigail, Katie, Matthew, and Nathan Smith; a sister-in-law, Rachel Vincent; daughter -in-law Alice Pellerin and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Skyline Terrace Nursing Home, Valley Health Cancer Center, or Shriners Hospital in Springfield, MA.
