Laura Poindexter Jayson, 72 of Woodstock, Virginia passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 in Winchester, Virginia. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Laura was born March 30, 1947 in Roanoke, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Roberta Backus Poindexter. She was a 1965 graduate from William Byrd High School.
She is survived by a brother, Walter T. Poindexter and wife Cathy of Manassas, Virginia and a sister Dr. Mary Berry and husband Bill of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Also surviving, Nephew Kevin T. Poindexter (Ashleigh), Grand Nephew Brayden, Grand Niece Keeley Poindexter of Lynchburg, Virginia; Niece Kelly Ray (Kevin), Grand Nephews Xavier Ray and Maddox Ray of Stephens City, Virginia.
