Luke Heird Obituary
Luke Isaac Heird, 16 of Woodstock passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday April 17,2021 in Sunset View Memorial Gardens. Reverend Christopher Porter of Lebanon Lutheran Church will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 - 2:00 at Dellinger Funeral Homes, Woodstock. COVID-19 restrictions apply for the services.
Luke was born on March 29, 2005 and was the son of Christopher and Leslie Smith Heird. He loved to laugh, play video games, and hang out with "the boys." He was proud to play football for Central High School and was an all-around neat kid. We were so looking forward to watching him finish becoming a man. We take comfort in and praise the Lord that he is now with Jesus.
He is survived by his parents, brothers Jack and his wife Rachel, and Elijah. Grandparents are Dan and Sally Heird of Denton, TX, and Joseph and Lynna Smith of Sophia, NC. In addition, he is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
