Mack Gill Obituary
Mack Edison Gill, 85 of Edinburg passed away on December 22, 2020 at Lifecare in New Market. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in Emerson Walter Cemetery. Pastor Kevin Gerber will officiate. Family night will be on Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 6-8 P.M. at Dellinger Funeral Homes, Woodstock. COVID restrictions apply for both services.
Mack was born on January 24, 1935 in Abingdon, Virginia and was the son of the late Edward and Winnie Bowman Gill. He was preceded in death by 3 bothers and 2 sisters.
Mack is survived by his wife, Jean; 2 sons. Jeff Gill and wife Sydney of Edinburg and Eddie Gill of West Point, Virginia; a daughter, Kathy Gill of Woodstock; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Tamkin, Kimberly Evy, Kyle Gill, Cory Gill, Taylor Gill, and Aidan Gill; 5 great grandchildren, Kali Bowers, Kasey Fravel, Tyler Tamkin, Karissa Fravel, and Cara Gill; Ronnie Gill and wife Joan of Max Meadows, Virginia and a sister, Doris Andis of Columbia, South Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fort Valley Fire Department.
