Martha Hartmann Obituary
Martha "Marcie" Hartmann, 89 of Woodstock passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital. Burial will be private. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and time.
Marcie was born November 7, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Mohler Bell. After graduating from Denison University, Marcie, a classically trained pianist and singer, raised a family and then later in life went back to school to earn her RN Degree. She worked a number of years within the Hospice community. She was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Woodstock. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Hartmann, Jr.; a grandson, Nathaniel Hartmann and a brother, Jonathan Bell of Luray.
She is survived by 3 sons, Andrew of New York, Jeffrey and Christopher, both of Woodstock; and a daughter, Suzanne of Maryland; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial donations can be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
