Phillip Litten Obituary

Phillip Wayne Litten, 70, of Woodstock, died Monday, June 13, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center. He was born June 19, 1945 at New Market, son of the late Mervin Eugene and Gladys Roulette Green Litten.

He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Edinburg.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Thompson Litten whom he married January 5, 1964. He is also survived by two sons, Daren Litten and Jeff Litten both of Woodstock; a sister, Judy Ann Hopson of Knoxville, Tenn; four brothers, James E. (Ann) Litten and Harry Lee (Chloe) Litten all of Stuart, Gary R. (Mary Ann) Litten and Gregory (Debbie) Litten all of Edinburg; two sisters- in-law Madeline Litten of Mt. Jackson and Joan Litten of Edinburg; and two grandchildren, Emily Litten and Carly Litten. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald R. Litten and Carroll E. Litten.

A funeral service will held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church in Edinburg with Rev. Dr. Roy Nilsen and Rev. Harold Wetzel officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Edinburg.

Pallbearers will be John Thompson, Wayne Short, Fred Weaver, John Scaggs, Richard Ryan and Tony Stout.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.
