Randy Ray Bailey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Randy Ray Bailey, 82, of Harrisonburg and formerly Mt. Jackson, died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Bellaire at Stone Port in Harrisonburg. Mr. Bailey was born July 17, 1934 in Lynchburg, son of the late William Henry and Nellie Margaret Wood Bailey. He was a Postal Service Executive and retired after 38 years if service. He was a member of the Mt. Jackson United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Strasburg, Moose Lodge # 403 and the New Market Eagles # 4264. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca May Eppard Bailey May 2, 1987. He is survived by two daughters, Debra Lynn Berezin of Atlanta, GA and Malinda Lee Howe of Acworth, GA; a stepdaughter, Jeanie Wood of Front Royal; two stepsons, Tom Prisaznick of Strasburg and Mark Prisaznick of Woodbridge; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren He was also preceded in death by a son, Randall Scott Bailey and a sister, Sonia Fay Wentzel. The funeral service will be Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with the Rev. Darwin Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Jackson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Prisaznick, Eric Berezin, Rick Howe, Scott Bailey, Andrew Prisaznick and Philip Prisaznick. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
