Stella Freze Obituary
Stella M. Freze 96, formerly of Edinburg went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, Sept. 14th surrounded by her family at her daughters home in Bristol, TN. Services will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pastors Larry Cook and Tyrone Gheen will officiate. Burial will follow in Biller Crest Cemetery.
Stella was born November 20, 1921 in Mt. Jackson, VA. She was the daughter of the late Isaiah and Tiny Bell Biller Tusing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Freze; a daughter, Cynthia Roy; 2 siblings, Pauline Hare and David I. Tusing; 2 grandchildren, Donald Taylor and Jeanie Weaver and a son-in-law, Troy "Buddy" Thacker.
Stella is survived by 3 sons, Ralph Freze of Mt. Jackson, VA. Jeff Freze and wife Denise of Shippensburg, PA. and John Freze and wife Melissa of Woodstock, VA.; 2 daughters, Sharon Thacker of Bristol, TN., Robbie M. Phelps and husband Joe of Stephens City, VA.; 11 grandchildren, Juanita Wild, Joyce Willoughby, Alan Testerman, Crystal Evy, Amy Ruiz, Sarah May, Serena Talbot, Lisa Phelps, Brian Phelps, Jonathan Freze and Valerie Freze; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
