Teresa Krug Obituary
Teresa Gisriel Krug (Tracy), 59, of Edinburg passed away on August 9, 2022, at UVA Medical Center. A service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the Duck Run Natural Cemetery in Penn Laird. Light reception to follow. The family will have a celebration of life at Little Havana Restaurant in Baltimore, Maryland on Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Tracy was born on December 19,1962 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Vincent de Paul Gisriel and Martha Owens Gisriel. After graduating from Mount de Sales Academy, Tracy attended St. Mary's College of Maryland and graduated with a degree in History. Tracy met her husband, Lu, while teaching high school at her alma mater. A few years, daughters, and moves later, Tracy went back to school and spent the rest of her career as a librarian.
The most important things to Tracy were her family, her friends, and finding a way to help anyone who needed it. Everyone who met her was better for knowing her. She also loved to travel, read, and eat Oreos for breakfast. Tracy is survived by her loving husband, Luis Krug; daughters Luisa Krug and Maria (Mike) Comuniello; and siblings Vince Gisriel, Rita Cole, and Mary Henn.
