W. Deloris "Dee" Griffey, 87 of Woodstock passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her home. A Private Graveside Service will be held in Sunset View Memorial Gardens. Emmett Umberger will officiate.
Deloris was born on August 12, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Christopher and Willie Dickerson Wright. She worked in the school cafeteria at Toms Brook Elementary and later she worked at Aileen as a Machine Operator. She was preceded in death by 3 children, Belinda Shipp, Robert Buckley, and Tracey Buckley and 3 siblings, Savilla Elizabeth Claytor, Margaret Anstine, and Gordon A, Wright
She is survived by her husband, Donald Griffey; 2 sons, Paul Buckley (Debbie) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Mark Griffey (Devin) of Strasburg, Virginia; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren and a sister, Lorene Serrett of Waynesboro, Virginia.
