Cynthia Brunson Obituary
Cynthia Elizabeth Brunson (Cin-Cin), 71, of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Woodstock, VA, went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2022. Services will be held at Dellinger Funeral Homes in Woodstock on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Lucy Hughes officiating. The burial will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Woodstock, VA. The family will greet friends and family at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Cynthia was born on October 27, 1950, in Woodstock, to the late Horace McNery Fields Sr. and Rosanna Scott Fields. She was a 1970 graduate of Central High School and worked as a CNA for many years before moving on to factory work, where she retired as a seamstress from Wrangler.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Beaufort Brunson, and Edward R. Williams: and brothers, Horace Jr., and Larry Fields. She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Edward J. Williams, a daughter, Kim Williams, both of Atlanta, GA; and daughter, Joanna Gilbert (Sheldon), of Woodstock, VA; and brothers, Robert Fields, Richard Fields, and John Fields, all of Woodstock, VA; She also leaves behind her stepchildren, Tracey Brunson, Tina Brunson, Eddie Brunson, Beaufort Brunson, Damion Brunson, Cindy McCormick, and Wendy Glover; three grandchildren, Cayden Williams of Savannah, GA; Adriana Fields, and Alexis Gilbert.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
