Donna Shafer Obituary

Donna Carolyn Emerick Shafer, 66, of Edinburg, passed away Saturday afternoon, Dec. 15, 2018, at the U.Va. Medical Center in Charlottesville. She was born Oct. 31, 1952, was a daughter of the late John and Esta Golladay Emerick.
Donna is survived by two sons, Claude Shafer Jr. and Allen Shafer, both of Edinburg; four sisters, Penny Lohr of Broadway, Dorothy Ramsey of Danville, Patricia Sager of Quicksburg and Jackie Emerick of Timberville; three brothers, William Emerick of Shenandoah, Roger Emerick of Mount Jackson and Gerald (Butch) Emerick of New Market and a granddaughter.
The Rev. Bass Mitchell will conduct a memorial service 2 p.m. Friday at Manor Memorial United Methodist Church in New Market.
