Eleanor DeCerbo Obituary
Eleanor Joyce DeCerbo 94 of Woodstock passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Dutch Haven in Maurertown. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church. Father Michael Dobbins will officiate. Burial will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester.
Eleanor was born July 6, 1924 in Alabama. She was the daughter of the late William and Rosa McLenney Messer. She was a member of St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Vincent DeCerbo February 15, 2017 and a son Douglas DeCerbo in 2007.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Gail Giles and husband Bill; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie DeCerbo; 4 grandchildren, Sheryl Warren and husband Scott, Jessica Cline and husband Michael, Douglas DeCerbo, Jr. and wife Jennifer and David DeCerbo and wife Joanne and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu flowers memorial donations can be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street Winchester , Virginia 22601.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
