Evelyn Jennings Obituary
Evelyn Pearl Jennings, 86 of Strasburg and formerly of New Market passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at her home. A Graveside Service will be at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 26 in Mt. Jackson Cemetery
Evelyn was born on June 29, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruby Costello Kestner. She was a great cook who loved to prepare large meals for her family. She enjoyed working in her yard and cared for many stray kitties that showed up at her door. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Lee Jennings; a son, Robert Lee Jennings; a grandson, Frankie Moore and 3 sisters; Virginia Hansbrough, Doris Middleton, and Mildred Thomas-Paterson and 4 brothers, Claude Kestner, Raymond Kestner, Charles Kestner and Richard Kestner.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Carolyn Moore (Frank), Donna Siever (Curtis) and Linda Mullins; 6 grandchildren, Bob Jennings, Yolanda Starkey, Leigha Moore, Ashley Moore, Hayley Moore, and Amanda Siever; 3 great grandchildren, Joseph Starkey, Ilana Starkey, and Dagan Starkey; a sister, Velma Mabe (Leo); a half-brother, Michael Kestner (Jane) and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in the care of Dellinger Funeral Homes, Mt. Jackson.
