Gerald "Jerry" Allen Reynolds, 60, of Maurertown, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Martinsburg VA Center. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke Brethren Church in Woodstock. Reverend Anthony Keim will officiate. Burial, with military honors by Woodstock American Legion Post #199, will follow in Gravel Springs Cemetery in Star Tannery.
Mr. Reynolds was born march 2, 1950 in Woodstock, son of the late Merle Allen Reynolds and Mary Frances Grove Reynolds Day. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam era and owner of Jerry's Furniture Finishing and Repair. He was a member of Community Mission Church of the Brethren and Woodstock American Legion Post #199 where he was Past Commander and former bartender.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Burner and her significant other, Travis Yonts of Woodstock; brother, John W. Reynolds and his fiancée Joy Waybright of Edinburg; granddaughter, Emily Joyce Burner and Jerry's significant other, Linda Wilson of Woodstock.
Pallbearers will be William Miller, Gary Miller, Jeff Grove, Alvin Mauck, Denny Schindler and Jared Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Woodstock American Legion Post# 199.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
