Margaret Schlotterbeck Obituary
Margaret (Peg) Schlotterbeck, 89, of Harrisonburg passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Sentara Medical Center. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
Peg was born October 5, 1929 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Colin and Mary Reed McInnes. She was an Army wife, and retired with her late husband Walter in the valley, which became their community. She spent her last few years at VMRC in Harrisonburg.
Peg is survived by two sons, Karl Schlotterbeck and wife Sue of Massachusetts, and Eric Schlotterbeck and spouse Jonathan O'Conner of Minnesota; a daughter, Susan Carlson and husband Dale of Maurertown; four grandchildren, Sara Schlotterbeck, Jamie Keefe, Emily Carlson and Daniel Carlson, and a great grandson, Beckham Keefe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Woodstock Museum, P.O. Box 741 Woodstock, Virginia 22664 or a charity of your choice.
