Petrena Frye Obituary
It is with great sorrow to announce Petrena Lila Frye of New Market, VA passed away on January 17, 2019. She was born on April 5, 1965 in Alexandria, VA. She is survived by her husband, Christopher Frye; her children, Shannon Nielsen, Kristen Bono, and Nicholas Frye; and her grandchildren, Callie Nielsen, Khloe Maccado, and Shiloh Bono.
In her career, Petrena worked as a nurse. Petrena enjoyed the simple things in life - sitting by her Christmas tree, eating favorite family recipes (Papau's Macaroni Salad), drinking iced tea, having her fan on loud at night, and wearing a cozy pair of clothes. She took pleasure in watching "her shows" on television, taking early morning walks on the beach, and having long conversations on the phone. Petrena was great when it came to giving advice and comforting others.
Petrena will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M.at Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson, VA with Reverend Stephanie Heishman-Litten officiating.
