Rebecca Ann "Becky" Hunt, 54, of Edinburg, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Winchester Medical Center. The funeral will be held Friday, May 7th at 10:00 AM at Antioch Church of the Brethren. Reverend George Bowers will officiate. Burial will follow in Walters Cemetery in Fort Valley.
Miss Hunt was born August 9, 1955 in Woodstock, daughter of the late Arden Reams and Ruth Pauline McClanahan Hunt. She was a Manpower employee working for Interbake Foods in Front Royal and had owned Becky's Restaurant in Woodstock where she loved to cook. She was a member of Oak Hill Church of the Brethren in Fort Valley and Woodstock Moose Lodge #575.
Becky is survived by her daughter, Katrina Ann "Pinky" Hunt and her husband, Jonathan Hathaway of Edinburg; boyfriend, David Williams; six brothers, Gordon Hunt of Woodstock, Clyde Hunt of Edinburg, Larry Hunt of Culpeper, Edward Hunt of Woodstock, Harry Hunt of Fort Valley and Steve Hunt of Edinburg; "Grand" God Children, Autumn Shelton and Alivia Shelton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister, Margaret Putman and brother, Arnold Hunt.
Pallbearers will be Wally Wright, Bob Waynee, Daniel Hunt, Frank Shelton, Donnie Gatchell and Richard Mitchell. Honorary pallbearer will be David Hunt.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 PM at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
