Stella Pauline Vincent, 79, of Woodstock and formerly of Mt. Jackson, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her home.
She was born August 4, 1939 in Basye, daughter of the late Athey and Clarissa Barb Funkhouser.
She was a former employee of Aileen Inc. of Edinburg and retired from Sheetz in Mt. Jackson.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saints in Woodstock.
She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Vincent.
She is survived by two daughters Lona Parker of Wisconsin and Christine Zuniga of Woodstock; three sisters, Ellen Troxell of Mt. Jackson, Mary Propst of Weyers Cave and Sheldon May of Front Royal; two brothers, Charles Funkhouser of Woodstock and Andrew Funkhouser of Edinburg; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a great grandson, Brantley Donovan, also by three brothers, James Funkhouser, Robert Funkhouser, and Richard Funkhouser.
The funeral service will be held Monday, February 4th at 11:00 am at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with Bishop Jason Wright officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Jackson Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jim Elder, Romulo Zuniga, Josh Brazee, Denzel Warr, Roy Neff, and Dee Brazee.
The family will receive friends Sunday, from 5pm to 6pm at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson.
