Robert Arthur Mabis, 63, of Fort Valley, died Thursday, September 1, 2016 at his home. Mr. Mabis was born August 28, 1953 in Alexandria, son of the late William Edward Mabis, Sr. and Lois Mildred Anderson Mabis. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Woodstock. Mr. Mabis is survived by his wife, Patricia Bria Wooster Mabis who he married April 28, 2014. He is also survived by a daughter, Monica Greene of Pennsylvania; a brother, Vincent Mabis of North Carolina; a sister, Linda Mack of Maryland; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Isaiah Clem Cemetery in Fort Valley with Bishop Jason Wright officiating. Pallbearers will be Frank Ingham, Vincent Mabis, Robert Cline, Michael Wages, James Heron and Steve Hyson. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Funk and Everette Lawrence. Arrangements are by Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
